Important Notice for Patients – Out of Area Registrations

From 1st January 2026, Rockleigh Court Surgery will begin identifying patients who are registered with us but currently reside outside our practice catchment area.

Patients found to be living outside the designated area will receive a letter advising them to register with a GP practice within their local catchment area. This change is necessary to ensure that all patients receive appropriate care and access to home visit services when required.

If you have recently moved or are unsure whether your address is within our catchment area, please contact the surgery as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation

Register with a GP surgery

We are using a new online service called Register with a GP surgery that makes it easy to register with this GP surgery.

Just fill in this quick online form to start the process. You do not need proof of address or immigration status, ID or an NHS number. gp-registration.nhs.uk/F81102

The service is designed and run by the NHS, so your personal information is safe. It cuts our administrative workload and makes it easier for you to register.
Paper forms are still available if you need one.

Important Update: New GP Appointment Booking System at Rockleigh Court Surgery

From today, Rockleigh Court Surgery is introducing a new way of booking GP appointments.

All patients who need a GP appointment are now asked to complete an online form using a tool called AccuRx. The form can be found on the homepage of our website. Once submitted, your request will be reviewed by a clinician who will triage it and advise you of the next steps. This may result in:

  • An appointment on the same day, or

  • An appointment within a couple of days, depending on clinical need.

We kindly ask for your patience as this new system is rolled out.

If you are unable to complete the online form, our reception team will be happy to assist you either over the phone or in person at the surgery.

Thank you for your cooperation and support as we work to improve access to care.

Important Notice: Online Consultation Submissions After 5:00 PM

Please note that any online consultation forms submitted after 5:00 PM will not be reviewed by a clinician until the next working day.

If you require urgent medical attention or if you feel it cannot wait until next working day, please call Rockleigh Court Surgery (during opening hours) or NHS 111 for advice and support outside of surgery hours.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

GP Earnings 23/24

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working in Rockleigh Court Surgery in the last financial year was £72,042 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 6 part time GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months.

However, it should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice.
